The Brazilian Institute of Education, Development, and Research (IDP) has over 20 years of history and operates across two campuses in Brasília, as well as having a presence in São Paulo and virtually. With more than 500 courses, it is now one of the most renowned Brazilian higher education institutions. IDP is a client of CrazyTechLabs, engaging in licensing and cloud procurement, infrastructure consultation, cloud architecture, and training and consultancy.
CrazyTechLabs is directly involved in IDP's cloud usage, licensing, and supporting various needs since 2018. By optimizing cloud and infrastructure usage, accommodating additional requirements, we achieved a cost reduction of around 40%. Currently, IDP is migrating its entire productivity and sharing interface to Microsoft 365, ensuring access for everyone within the institution.
The company addressed a significant challenge faced by its clients, a latent demand for monitoring consumable expenses such as water, energy, and gas, as well as people flow and facility usage.
Cloud, as a fundamental input for operations, covers its entire technology infrastructure, remote support for students, online courses, and academic and financial operations. We provide support alongside the academic team, connecting students with real innovation projects, fostering events that promote the use of Innovation, Internet of Things, Digital Twins, Artificial Intelligence, and more. Part of this effort involves seeking market initiatives that can assist IDP.
To achieve these milestones, CrazyTechLabs collaborates with the institution's IT and operations management, providing training and certifications to employees and professors. This includes raising awareness and taking actions related to architectural design and finding better ways to design the necessary cloud resources.
